Winter in May?

Can someone please tell me why I had to dress my daughter in this outfit yesterday?

Jason is coaching soccer out at Hood View Junior Academy again this year, but this time he is coaching the 5th and 6th graders. This is a picture of his team.

Yesterday Piper and I went to watch their game out at Meadow Glade in Vancouver. It was so cold that I had to dress her in full snow gear, everything but the gloves (which she never would have worn anyway). Unfortunately we did not win, but the kids played well, and I even got a little video of Piper playing soccer! She is really daddy's little girl! :)

Jameson Park

Last Friday Becca and I took the girls out to Jameson Park in Portland for a little water fun! They had an absolute blast, except for when Piper got knocked down by a bigger kid, so was a little upset about that. But most of the day was pretty nice, the weather was great, and the water felt SO good. Here are a few pictures of the park and the girls. I hope that we can go again soon.

Beach Day

So I know it has been a while since I blogged about anything. It is amazing how you can lose time with a toddler in the house. I think today is Monday, but I could be wrong! Anyway, please forgive my absence, and the lateness of this blog! About a month ago we went out to my parent's cabin in Rockaway Beach. Lots of the family was there and it was the first time Piper had been back since she was only a few months old. We took her out on to the beach and let her walk in the sand for the first time. She was absolutely hilarious, she was on a mission and would not stop for anything. I think she would have walked to California if I had let her! Then we tried to turn her around to go back to the cabin, and she was having NONE of that, she only wanted to walk south. We had a good time and got some great pictures. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
