Piper's One Year Pictures

We took Piper to JC Penney a few weeks ago to have her one year pictures taken. They came out pretty good, we got some cute ones. It was pretty difficult to get her to smile and stand still now that she is so mobile! So here are some good ones, hope you like them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECCA! Today is your birthday and I am missing you like crazy! I sit here today reflecting on the 11 (almost 12) years that we have known each other. I couldn't have picked a better friend, and I am so thankful that God saw fit to place you in my life. I know that I can be pretty crazy sometimes, and I am grateful that you have stuck around. You are such an amazing person that I just can't imagine my life without you, and why would I want to. I am so thankful that you are always there, not only for me but for my daughter as well. She will have such a role model to look up to for years to come. But enough of the flattery. I love you Becca, but I have never been that great at expressing such things in words. Snow Day

Piper got a snow suit from my parents for Christmas this year and so Jason and I decided that we should take her up to the mountain and put in some good use! :)

We went to Government Camp on Mt Hood to a small snow tubing area. Jason thought it would be fun to take her down the hill on a tube once, so he went up to ask the worker how much it was for a tube. He said it was like $8 an hour or something. Jason thought it wasn't worth it, so he said "thanks but I only wanted to take my daughter down once, so never mind". The guy was so nice he told Jason that he had an extra tube at that moment and if Jason wanted to just go down once he would let him use it for free. Piper seemed to enjoy the ride! :) Here is the video, hope you enjoy as well! (video is on it's way)
